So here we are, one more time, one more week one more page. It is crazy how quick things are moving, incredible that we found ourselves working on book #2, page 2. I have the chance this week to begin all the finalization of the pages layout and adjusting the trim and bleeding areas to do a try for a 24 page comic book, probably to be launched via kick starter.
Some of the things that need to be wrapped are the inner page a second cover and the redo of the front cover that I am not fully convinced, lots of work to do, but happy to see it coming to life one page at the time. I have that feeling that the whole book its adjutinge better and better.
Again I would like to give a big shout out to Clint Gilbert that has done a great job on the script and shaping the general idea into a kick ass story-line, Dany being supportive and a big part of this from day one, and Leo Beckher for the outstanding work on the coloring, always on point.
Also thank you so much to all of our Patrons that support the book to help us keep going, I truly appreciate them having our backs!!
hope you all have a great weekend and stay safe, please wash your hands, wear a mask!!!
I like that they had the sense to keep her hands tied behind her back the whole time, you don’t want someone having too much freedom. The detail is amazing as well.
Should I know Tran from Wonderer Land or Looking Glass? I’m only familiar with the Disney.
Hey how are you and thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Yes they need to keep her tied for sure, I’m sure she was not going to start any mess in that office with Tran there for sure. Something that no one knows is that Alice was intended to be chained to Tran during the whole adventure in my first concept of the story, I do have some of the very first pages from a long time ago where she actually had short hair. In the case of Tran, also going to the first story there was truly not a reason for him to be there, I was only using the wonderland to create a fantastic world where I can talk about whatever and touch every topic without hurting anyone feelings, I was 23 back then I am 37 now lol. A few years back in 2014 I decided to go and really explore the Alice in Wonderland universe and thought that road will be way more interesting for the book and became a big fan of ALICE IN WONDERLAND in the process. Luckily Clint Gilbert hop on the book and through several conversations, we develop the concept of where the book was going and he shaped the script and idea perfectly.
Again Thank you so much for taking the time We truly appreciate it!!
